The Elliptical Link Full Cheek Bit is a fairly mild bit, ideal for schooling and training young horses. The full cheeks aid with steering, the dorado metal helps with salivation and acceptance of the bit and the rounded, egg shaped link in the middle avoids any nutcracker action on the tongue.
