The globe pelham is only used with one rein, there is no snaffle ring on this one but it does have a curb chain.  A good bit for novice riders the bit puts pressure on the poll due to the hanging cheek.  The mullen mouthpiece is a relatively straight and provides a stable surface in the horses mouth.
