The combination of a noseband and a mouthpiece makes this a fairly severe bit. The noseband fits snugly to the face, usually with a chain attachment. The long cheeks create poll pressure. This bit has a Mullen mouthpiece in either Rubber or Vulcanite. This is a popular showjumping bit. Available in 5 & 5 1/2"
